In this two-part workshop series, we’ll explore how the physical practices of yoga, along with breath work, can support stress, anxiety and depression. Clearly recognised by modern science - evidenced by numerous studies - yoga has the potential to positively impact mental health and wellbeing, and here we’ll look at how. Sometimes labelled as ‘bottom-up’ approaches, the morning will be dedicated to the direct experience or physical application of these techniques and their impact on our mind, body and our nervous system. There’ll also be theory and discussion, plus you’ll receive a handout and guided audio practice to take home.
